The Hillcrest School District has touch-less bottle filling stations in each building. We will have disposable cups for students to use; however, you may want to send a PLASTIC water bottle for your child to use. Please, do not send metal bottles or cups to school. Thank You!

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 11th is the first day of school for all Hillcrest students. The following is a reminder for all ELEMENTARY parents. Students that are car riders will be dropped off and picked up in the edge of the parking lot, against the crosswalk, between the gym and the lower elementary (K-2) building. The K-2nd pick-up and drop-off point will be on the top of the hill adjacent to the walkway that leads to the cafeteria. Mrs. Lana and Mrs. Shanna will be opening car doors to get kids out of your vehicle. The 3rd-6th grade students will be dropped off and picked up in the same parking lot; but, in the corner, closest to the gym (same as last year). Mrs. Rhonda and Mrs. Natalie will be opening your car doors. We will not be doing temperature checks. K-2nd students will get a grab-and-go breakfast in the cafeteria, and 3rd-6th students in the gym lobby. Parents, please stay in your vehicle and stay in your drop-off line. Car riders should be dropped off between 7:40-7:55. There will be a line these first few days; don’t panic and please be patient with us. Our first concern is your child’s safety. If you need to give us registration forms, or any other documents; please, go to the office (southeast corner of the gym, lower level, go through the double glass doors). In the PM, we will bring out car riders at around 3:05. Again, stay in your vehicle and stay in the car pick-up line. If you have children in both buildings, please contact us and we will get them to one pick-up spot for your convenience. Also, Hillcrest is a closed campus. All entrances, other than the office, will be locked at all times. Do not go to your child’s classroom. If any parent/guardian or patron needs to be on campus for any reason, they are to go to the elementary office. If you do not know where that is please call (870) 376-5416 or you can email me at shawn.rose@eagles1.k12.ar.us.
