The Hillcrest Cookie Dough Fundraiser is currently going on. The deadline to turn in orders and monies has been extended to Thursday, November 3rd.

The Hillcrest High School BETA Team and Screamin' Eagle Productions need your Help! We will be collecting non-perishable food items to help local families in need to celebrate Thanksgiving. Collection boxes will be set up at each of the Hillcrest home basketball games between October 31st and November 11th. Basketball patrons can drop off their donations as they enter each game and receive a chance to win a special prize that night!
October 31-vegetables (canned beans, corn. etc.)
November 1-side dishes (Macaroni & Cheese, instant potatoes, etc.)
November 3- bread (stuffing, muffin mix, crackers, etc.)
November 11-dessert fixings (canned fruit, cake mix, frosting, etc.)


At the December 5th games against Sloan-Hendrix we will give special recognition to coach Daniel Bates' daughter Emery who has been diagnosed with MLD. We ask everyone to wear purple for Emery. If you would like to purchase a purple shirt please follow the link. Shirts will be available for pickup sometime before the game. Orders should be turned in before November 10th.

Hillcrest Elementary 1st Quarter Awards Assembly will be at 1:40PM, today, in the gymnasium. All visitors may enter/exit through the main gym entrance beginning at 1:30.

Tomorrow night (10/6) is financial aid night at 6 p.m. in the New Tech Commons area. All seniors and parents are invited to attend to apply for FAFSA. Juniors and parents are invited for informational purposes only.

REMINDER:
The Hillcrest School District is a closed campus. All visitors must check in to the school's office before being allowed to be on that campus. That includes the lunchroom and playground area on the elementary campus.

School picture day is this Friday Oct. 7th. Please remember to not dress your student in green. Students should have brought a picture form home for you to fill out.

The Hillcrest High School Library is having a book fair from September 15th - September 25th.
We will open daily at 7:30. We will close at 12:00 on Tuesday and Thursday. It will remain open until 12:30 on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Ms. Fortenberry will also have the book fair open on Saturday the 25th from 10:00 - 2:00 for the community to shop. Most books are for young adults but there is a small selection of children's books available also.
