Fifth and sixth graders spent last Friday participating in activities at Old Davidsonville.










High School ATLAS Interim testing will be this week, Monday-Thursday. Students need to make sure their MacBooks are charged each night before. Testing groups/locations will be posted at each office.
Hillcrest Elementary is celebrating our recent school report card grade from last year. We got an A!!!! Congratulations to all students, parents, teachers, staff members, administration, school board and community members for your contributions in the success of our students at Hillcrest! The City of Lynn would like to remind you that Saturday September 20th is the 3rd Annual Harvest Fest. There will be bounce houses, live music, corn hole and horseshoe tournaments, food truck and a car show hosted by the Hillcrest FFA. Events start at 10 am at the Lynn city park.
Mrs. Kara is rewarding her students who have read their books for the 9 weeks. Keep encouraging students to read! (Not all students who have read books are pictured)







Maren Hutchinson used her earned "Read-a-Book to a Class" Coupon to read aloud to Ms. Baylee's first grade. She was supported by her friend, Aubrey Pelley.

Ms. Baylee's first graders coloring their 9/11 sheets. Today, they watched a video over 9/11 then read September 12, which was written by first grade students in 2002.









Officer Raina talked to fourth grade about how investigators use skid marks and interia to determine who is at fault in a car accident.

During a science activity, fourth graders investigated if the height of the ramp affects the speed of the table tennis ball.










The Hillcrest Golf Teams were in action yesterday at the Course on Turkey Mountain for a 9 hole match. The Lady Eagles won their 3 team match defeating Norfork and Sloan-Hendrix. Adysen Turner led the Lady Eagles with a 55. Kaylin Mitchell shot a 57. On the boys side, the Screamin' Eagles finished in 3rd place in the 7 team match. Sawyer Hill led the way with a 44. Austin Munroe, Landin Simpson, and Rylee Netrefa all shot a 48 to round out the team score of 140.
