High school students had their first enrichment period today! From circuits and homemaking to professional etiquette and teamwork, students explored a variety of learning opportunities, including the first club meetings of the year. It’s been a great year of growth at HHS!

Mrs. Kara's Tools for Learning has been working on long-term and short-term goal setting.



Tomorrow, August 5th, Jostens will be on campus for graduation supplies and ring information. 10th grade will meet at 9:00 and 12th grade will meet at 10:00. Seniors must sign in at the HS office.

Mr. Maxwell’s biology students explored ecosystems in some of the smallest places last week. We can’t wait to see what discoveries await in science this week!

5th graders (and Officer Raina 😊) completed a lab testing various items for properties such as conductivity, reflectivity, magnetism, and flexibility.

It was a great day on campus at Hillcrest High! Students were actively engaged in learning—from exploring math and science concepts to building their own websites. Some made their way to the library, while others were recognized with awards for their outstanding accomplishments in last year’s journalism class. We’re proud of the hard work happening all around campus!

The Hillcrest Beta Club will be selling celebration bags this entire school year. These can be used for things such as: birthday, job well done, just because, get well, thinking of you. These bags are $5. Forms in the offices on both campuses!


Mrs. Dorothy's third grade class enjoyed creating and testing boats during the first week of school.









In fourth grade, we asked our students how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich step by step. We wanted them to understand that no matter the subject, they need to be specific in their work.
