Hillcrest Summer School sessions will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, June 4th, at 8:00AM. The dates for Summer School this year are June 4-6, June 11-13, and June 18-20. Car riders will need to be dropped off at the Jr. High building entrance at Strawberry between 7:30-7:50 and picked up between 12:45-1:00. Bus Route Announcement: Mr. Goff's Bus will pickup at Smithville at 7:00, Grange Rd at 7:20, Hilltop at 7:25, and at the Strawberry trailer park on Hwy 230 at 7:40. Mrs. Angela's Bus will pickup at Nelsonville at 6:50, Poughkeepsie at 7:00, Willson Well Rd. at 7:05, kids along Hwy 115 from 7:15-7:30, and Hwy 115 Jesup to Strawberry form 7:35-7:40. Mr. Jones's Bus will pickup Powhatan at 7:00, CR 276 at 7:10, Hwy 361 & Saffell Post Office 7:25, across from Rosebud Church at 7:30, at up HWY 25 to Strawberry at 7;35-7:40. The Hillcrest Elementary Awards Assembly (grades 1-5) will be tomorrow, Thursday, May 23, 1:30PM, in the gymnasium on the elementary campus in Lynn. Everyone is welcome to attend. Awards will be presented for: end of year honor roll, AR, citizenship, most improved, spelling bee, and elementary archery.

Due to a scheduled power outage to replace electric poles at Strawberry, The Hillcrest School District will open TWO HOURS LATE, tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22. This includes Hillcrest Pre-K, Elementary, High School, and no Eagles Nest in the morning. All buses will run two hours late. We are sorry for any inconveniences.

When you cease to learn, you cease to grow. ~ Kenneth Blanchard The Hillcrest District Leadership Team recapped their learning and growth journey from this school year at the 'Leading PLCs District-Wide' conference in Little Rock. The focus of the yearly training was from the ‘Boardroom to the Classroom’. Hillcrest was among 46 Arkansas district teams that recapped their learning and growing journey through the PLC process.

T-Ball Update for Saturday, May 18: Due to the wet field conditions we are going to postpone tomorrow's games and move them to Monday night, May 20. The schedule will be as follows: Game 1 5:30 Gray vs Blue Game 2 6:30 Red vs Black Game 3 7:30 winner of game 1 vs Winner of game 2. Trophies will be given to all players so we hope to see everyone there. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Please see message again for a time change. Attn: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 summer baseball boys parents/guardians, Monday May 20th these teams will have scrimmage games at the Lynn softball field. The 7-8 boys will play the 3rd grade (9 year old) boys starting at 4:30 pm. Following that game the 11-12 boys will play the 4th grade (10 year old) boys starting at 6:15.

The Hillcrest Spring Music Program will be this Friday at 1:00PM, in the gymnasium on the elementary campus in Lynn. Everyone is invited. K-6 boys can dress as pirates and 'lost kids of Peter Pan', girls can dress as fairies,, as well as the 'lost kids of Peter Pan.'
