The Hillcrest District Leadership Team recapped their learning and growth journey from this school year at the 'Leading PLCs District-Wide' conference in Little Rock. The focus of the yearly training was from the ‘Boardroom to the Classroom’.
Hillcrest was among 46 Arkansas district teams that recapped their learning and growing journey through the PLC process.

T-Ball Update for Saturday, May 18: Due to the wet field conditions we are going to postpone tomorrow's games and move them to Monday night, May 20. The schedule will be as follows: Game 1 5:30 Gray vs Blue Game 2 6:30 Red vs Black Game 3 7:30 winner of game 1 vs Winner of game 2. Trophies will be given to all players so we hope to see everyone there. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Attn: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 summer baseball boys parents/guardians, Monday May 20th these teams will have scrimmage games at the Lynn softball field. The 7-8 boys will play the 3rd grade (9 year old) boys starting at 4:30 pm. Following that game the 11-12 boys will play the 4th grade (10 year old) boys starting at 6:15.
As a reminder, the high school Hillcrest Athletic Awards will be tomorrow, May 15th, at 1:40 in the Strawberry cafeteria.
The Hillcrest Spring Music Program will be this Friday at 1:00PM, in the gymnasium on the elementary campus in Lynn. Everyone is invited. K-6 boys can dress as pirates and 'lost kids of Peter Pan', girls can dress as fairies,, as well as the 'lost kids of Peter Pan.'

Also, we will start keeping score and using the official T-ball rules we have used the past several years starting Tonight. We just want everyone to be prepared for those changes.
The Faculty/Student softball game scheduled for this afternoon, Monday, May 13, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 21, at 12:30PM, at the baseball field in Strawberry.
Summer Ball Practice: Monday May 13 @Lynn 2:30-3:30 9-10 Girls 3:30-4:30 11-12 Girls If field is too wet, practice will be in the cage at Lynn.
Summer Ball practice:
7-8 boys will practice Monday and Tuesday from 4-5:30 on the strawberry ball field unless it rains. If it rains then we will practice in the gym.
The 9-10 summer baseball team will practice Monday 5/13 6:30-8:00 PM. Practice will be at the Lynn softball field unless it's wet or raining. If so practice will be held at the Strawberry gym.

The Hillcrest Elementary Awards Assembly (grades 1-5) will be on Thursday, May 23, 1:30PM, in the gymnasium on the elementary campus in Lynn. Everyone is welcome to attend. Awards will presented for end of year honor roll, AR, citizenship, most improved, spelling bee, and elementary archery.
Another big thank you to the Bank of Cave City for showing the faculty their appreciation by providing lunch today! We're truly blessed to have the support of our community.
