This Friday, September 5th is Grandparents Day. Kindergarten students (and their older siblings) and their grandparents will eat at 10:15. 1st grade (and their older siblings) and their grandparents will eat at 11:00. 2nd grade at 11:30, 3rd & 4th grades at 12:00, and 5th & 6th grades at 12:30.
Tuesday, September 9th is our first Intramural Basketball game; gate opens at 4:30; 1st/2nd girls at 5:00, 1st/2nd boys at 5:30, 3rd/4th girls at 6:00, 3rd/4th boys at 6:30, 5th/6th girls at 7:00, and 5th/6th boys at 7:30. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 12.

Attention FBLA members and parents: Krispy Kreme Donut forms are due today. If your student forgot their form please tell them to bring it to Mrs. Brannon's room before school starts tomorrow morning. Orders will be turned in to Krispy Kreme at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Mr. Story’s students have been hard at work crafting argumentative paragraphs about Christopher Columbus. After learning more about him, they were eager to take a stance and share their perspectives!




Mr. Maxwell’s biology students have been busy studying symbiosis! This week, they rotated through lab stations to identify different types of relationships and even used their senses to explore the mysteries inside some mystery boxes!







At the district leadership meeting, SROs Deputies Raina & Turner—the dynamic duo—shared follow-up ideas from staff feedback on CRASE training. They’re working hard to build a system that keeps students & staff safe at school. Thank you both!


This young man has been working hard all year, and his efforts are paying off! Over the past couple of weeks, Jackie has earned five certificates for completing assignments on IXL. Congratulations, Jackie—and thank you to all who continue to support his success!
