High School Parents: Semester Exams will be held this week, Thursday and Friday. Students will take exams based on attendance, grades, or disciplinary referrals. Students should check in with the office on Tuesday for a full list of required exams.

Archery practice will be after school tomorrow (Wednesday) at Strawberry for grades 6-12. They will shoot at Brookland Saturday at 5 or 6 pm, students have their flight times.

Archery Practice Reminder:
Both the High School and Middle School archery teams will practice this Sunday, December 7th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Strawberry gym. We plan to wrap up around 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Story’s 8th grade history students are hard at work creating their own freedom quilts! They’re learning how these quilts were used on the Underground Railroad to help guide enslaved people to freedom.

The cookie dough fundraiser will be delivered to school tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3rd. Please come to the gymnasium at Lynn between 2:30-3:00 to pick up your order. Most boxes are too big to go home on the bus and we do not have room to store. See you tomorrow!

Our junior class completed the ACT WorkKeys certification test the week before Thanksgiving Break. When we returned to school, the results were in—and several students earned certificates for their hard work! All students were entered into a gift card drawing, and those who achieved a Gold Level certification on any portion of the test received additional entries. Coach Sam’s 8th-grade science class is learning about motion! Today, students used an online simulation to investigate the factors that affect motion.

FBLA Parents: The bus for our Christmas light outing tonight will leave at 5:30PM from the Strawberry campus. Your child must have a signed permission form turned in and money for dinner at Freddie's. Students should dress warmly and will not be allowed to stay after school. Thank you! Mrs. Brannon.

Beta Club is selling Hillcrest Screamin’ Eagle Christmas ornaments! They are $5 each. Order forms were sent home with elementary students and are also available in the high school office. We’ll also have ornaments on display and available for purchase at the shopping event this Saturday.

With over 20 vendors signed up, make arrangements to come out to our annual shopping event. Support local vendors and find some great gifts for the upcoming Christmas season!

Students who missed the original picture day will have the opportunity to take their school photos on Friday, November 21, 2025. This will also be the official Senior Composite Picture Day for all graduating seniors.

ATTENTION: The Junior class will be taking the ACT Workkeys exams on Monday November 17th at 8:00am. UACCB has been made aware of this date as well.
