Archery shirts are here! They are being handed out today. We were short 15 shirts when we ordered. So if you didn't receive your shirt. We will have it by the end of our first week back from Christmas break. Sorry any inconvenience.

As part of our student of the month assembly, our students have also been helping to select our teachers of the month. This December the following were selected: Jr. High Teacher of the Month- Mr. Story Sr. High Teacher of the Month- Mr. Tate Staff Member of the Month- Coach Smith

The following students and staff were recognized at the December student of the month assembly. High School Parents: Semester Exams will be held this week, Thursday and Friday. Students will take exams based on attendance, grades, or disciplinary referrals. Students should check in with the office on Tuesday for a full list of required exams.

Archery practice will be after school tomorrow (Wednesday) at Strawberry for grades 6-12. They will shoot at Brookland Saturday at 5 or 6 pm, students have their flight times.

Archery Practice Reminder:
Both the High School and Middle School archery teams will practice this Sunday, December 7th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Strawberry gym. We plan to wrap up around 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Story’s 8th grade history students are hard at work creating their own freedom quilts! They’re learning how these quilts were used on the Underground Railroad to help guide enslaved people to freedom.

The cookie dough fundraiser will be delivered to school tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3rd. Please come to the gymnasium at Lynn between 2:30-3:00 to pick up your order. Most boxes are too big to go home on the bus and we do not have room to store. See you tomorrow!

Our junior class completed the ACT WorkKeys certification test the week before Thanksgiving Break. When we returned to school, the results were in—and several students earned certificates for their hard work! All students were entered into a gift card drawing, and those who achieved a Gold Level certification on any portion of the test received additional entries. Mr. Maxwell's students are putting their knowledge of the human skeletal system to the test through a lab practical.

Coach Sam’s 8th-grade science class is learning about motion! Today, students used an online simulation to investigate the factors that affect motion.

FBLA Parents: The bus for our Christmas light outing tonight will leave at 5:30PM from the Strawberry campus. Your child must have a signed permission form turned in and money for dinner at Freddie's. Students should dress warmly and will not be allowed to stay after school. Thank you! Mrs. Brannon.

Beta Club is selling Hillcrest Screamin’ Eagle Christmas ornaments! They are $5 each. Order forms were sent home with elementary students and are also available in the high school office. We’ll also have ornaments on display and available for purchase at the shopping event this Saturday.
