The 'end of year' Elementary Awards will be at 12:00 today, in the gym at Lynn. The awards presentation is open to the public, visitors may enter the 'regular' admissions gate on the west side of the gym.

The Hillcrest School District will be requesting a waiver from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for attendance, class size, length of the instructional day, clock hours, and recess in order to offer a digital learning option for the 2021-2022 school year. The K-6 digital learning option will be provided through the TRVP Virtual Program through our local educational cooperative. The 7-12 digital learning option will be provided through Virtual Arkansas. The digital learning options will be monitored by a designee on each campus. Coursework will be a combination of synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Courses will be taught by Arkansas, Highly Qualified, Certified Teachers. Please review the Digital Learning Plan for the 21-22 school year and provide your feedback on the Stakeholder Feedback Form.

All student MacBooks must be returned to their respective campuses by Tuesday, June 1st between the hours of 8am to 3pm. We also need all hot spots that were loaned to students to be returned by Tuesday.

Kindergarten Graduation is tonight, Monday, May 24, at 7:00. The doors open at 6:15. Graduates will sit with their parents until right before graduation begins. Seats (rows) are assigned, and labeled. Afterward; students will be dismissed, one at a time, at the end of graduation.

Academic awards ceremony will be today, Monday May 24th at 1:00pm in the gym at Lynn. The ceremony will be live streamed on facebook live. Parents are invited and will sit in the home bleachers.

Kindergarten Graduation is Monday, May 24, at 7:00. Sixth Grade Graduation is Tuesday, May 25, at 7:00. Students received eleven (11) vouchers for their families and friends to attend the graduations. Doors open at 6:15, all seating is already assigned. Elementary Awards Assembly is Thursday, May 27, at 12:00; and is open to the public.

Hillcrest High will honor our athletes tomorrow, May 21st at 1:00pm in the Lynn gym. Parents of athletes are invited to attend the ceremony. Parents are asked to come through the west gate and sit in the home stands. Thank you

This year the Hillcrest School District will have a summer school session dedicated to closing the gap for our students who have experienced loss of learning due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. This session will run from June 1st through June 24th. The session is open to all Hillcrest High School students regardless of grade level or academic performance. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. Transportation will be provided as well. The schedule will be as follows: June 1-4 8am-12pm June 7-10 8am-12pm June 15-18 8am-12pm June 21-24 8am-12pm During this time, students will receive instruction in Math, Science, and Literacy. Hands-on, student-centered activities such as science experiments, math manipulatives, and reading circles will be conducted.
