Thursday Dec 5th will be makeup and fall sports pictures. Makeup pictures for grades PreK-11 and Senior composites . All basketball teams elementary and high school will take team photos so be sure your student brings their uniform with them.
The Elementary's Cookie Dough Fundraiser was a great success. Cookie Dough orders will be delivered to the gymnasium lobby this Thursday, afternoon. Please come to the gym lobby, or make arrangements for someone to pick up orders between 2:00 and 3:10. We do not have a place to store orders and most boxes are too big and heavy for students to take on a bus.

If your son/daughter has recently missed school because of sickness, please remember to send a note to school. A note/letter will enable us to count the absence as an Excused Absence, rather than a Unexcused Absence.

Parents, we just want to remind you that all elementary students and staff will be at the pep rally, at the Strawberry gymnasium from 1:30-2:45.
Mr. Rose's bus should arrive at hilltop 5 to 10 minutes early this afternoon afternoon.
Homecoming will be Friday, November 15, 2024. After the games, HS will host a 7-12 bonfire at the elementary campus. Preselected chaperones will be at this event. The bonfire will end at 10:00 P.M. Lynn and Strawberry Volunteer Fire Departments will cook burgers for the kids.
Late Bus Route: There is a tree across the road and Mrs. Angela Burrow's bus route will be late this morning.

I am sending a note home today with students who are transported by bus. I am asking you to speak to your child about expected bus behaviors. We are experiencing several behavior issues on the buses including, but not limited to: students not sitting in assigned seats, students out of seat while bus is in motion, not displaying respectful and courteous behavior toward other students, not keeping hands to them selves. We ask that you help reiterate bus expectations for our children to maintain a safe, more pleasant bus ride to and from school.
Angela Burrow's bus route will run highway roads only this morning due to the unsafe conditions of low water bridges and low visibility. Pick up times are as follows: Foothills General Store at 6:45, Nelsonville four way at 7:00, and Jesup end of Mize Campbell road at 7:15.
Basketball for TONIGHT:
The Screamin' Eagles will be in action tonight at the Eagles Nest. The Lady Eagles will tip off at 5:00 followed by the Screamin' Eagles. Just two Sr games on the slate so come out and check out some basketball action!
Elementary Cookie Dough orders and money are due tomorrow, Friday, November 1. Remember to add $1 to each item for S/H.
Tomorrow, October 31st, grades 7-10 will begin taking the ATLAS interim tests. Test will also be given Nov 1st and the 7th and 8th. This is a reminder for students to charge Macbooks at night. Thank you.

This is a reminder that our "Cookie Dough" fundraiser is coming to an end. WE WILL TAKE YOUR ORDERS UNTIL THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1st. All proceeds are used for school-wide field trips later in the year (HiJinx and Ultimate Air last year)
