
Our first intramural night is this Tuesday, September 10th. Game times are as follows:
1st-2nd grade girls at 5:00, 1st-2nd grade boys at 5:30
3rd-4th grade girls at 6:00, 3rd-4th grade boys at 6:30
5th-6th grade girls at 7:00, and 5th-6th Boys at 7:30
Other game dates are Friday, Sept. 13th; Tuesday, September 17th, Friday, September 20th, and Tuesday, September 24th. Admission is $3 for adults.

Parents/Guardians,
We will celebrate National Grandparent’s Day tomorrow, Friday, September 6th. Grandparents are welcome to come and visit the classroom immediately before their lunch time and then eat lunch with their grandchildren. Lunch is $4.50 per adult and will consist of spaghetti/meat sauce or chicken avocado wrap, Italian bread, salad bar, dessert, and drink. Please remind grandparents about which meal selection they choose. Everyone will eat in the cafeteria and in the case of siblings, all grandparents and siblings will eat with the lower grade’s lunch time. If grandparents do not want to visit the classroom, they may wait in the gym lobby for the classes to come to the cafeteria.

11:45 2nd Grade (and older siblings)
12:15 3rd & 4th Grade (and older siblings)

ATTN FBLA Parents:
Krispy Kreme donut orders are due tomorrow, September 6th. Any orders not turned in tomorrow will not be able to be included in the fundraising order. Students should bring forms and money early in the day tomorrow if possible. Thank you, Mrs. Brannon.

Mr. Clifton's bus will run 20 minutes earlier than normal starting tomorrow morning. The first pick up will be at 6:10 a.m.

Parents/guardians of Hillcrest High School students: This year students will be sending home snapshots of their grades every other week. They will take time during their homeroom class to view their grades and share them with you. Please complete this form to let us know if you would like a text or email of your child's grades or if you simply wish to view it on their computer when they come home that afternoon. Attention High School parents/guardians: Tomorrow, 8/13/24, Jostens will be at high school at 10:30 for SENIOR cap, gown, and other graduation accessories. For SOPHOMORE, parent/guardians, Jostens will be at high school for senior rings. Please have your deposits tomorrow.

1st-6th Grade Parents: This is a reminder to turn in your child's Intramural Basketball Form tomorrow! We will be sending the t-shirt order off Tuesday, August 13th.

Hillcrest Parents this is a reminder about the "Late Start Mondays"
To give our teachers dedicated time for Professional Learning Community activities, we are having a Late Start policy on Mondays throughout the school year. This will allow our staff to meet, plan, and discuss strategies to improve instructional methods and practices. As a result, instruction time for students will begin at 8:20AM on Mondays, giving teachers ample time to collaborate.
AGAIN, School will begin at 8:20AM each Monday morning.
Buses will run as normal for those needing transportation. Bus pickup times will remain the same. Students arriving by bus will be supervised by staff until classes begin at 8:20AM.
Car Riders:
Drop-off Time and Drop-off Location will remain the same. If needed, you can drop off your children anytime between 7:30AM and 8:20AM, as staff will be available to monitor students.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: can eat breakfast in the cafeteria or report directly to the gymnasium.
ELEMENTARY STUDENTS: ALL ELEMENTARY students will report to the cafeteria as they arrive on campus, before going to the gym.

Hillcrest Athletic Physicals will be held August 8 beginning at 8:30 for Grades 7-12. Health History Forms were sent home with students that wanted to participate in athletics. (baseball, basketball, softball, golf, X Country, Track, Shooting Sports, Archery) These forms must filled out and signed by a parent/guardian of the student before the physical will be administered. Extra forms are in the High School office if needed. The School Physicals are free and will be administered by the Strawberry Medical Clinic on August 8. History forms can be turned in to Mrs Heather, Coach Smith, Coach Cheyenne, Coach Felicia, Coach Sam, or Coach Durham the day of or anytime before August 8.
